Big NVIDIA RTX 50 GPUs Leak: RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 Specifications Revealed, Showing Cores, GPU Die, TBP and More

RTX 50 upper mid-range cards unveiled!

NVIDIA is likely to step down on the RTX 5070 GPU die compared to the predecessor but the RTX 5070 Ti gets a XX3-class die. It seems like there will be a big difference in both GPUs and the specifications show that a lot of stuff is similar to the Ada cards.

GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Features GB203 Die While RTX 5070 Gets GB205: Here are the Latest Leaked Specifications

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti looks a bit better than the predecessor but this isn’t the case with the RTX 5070. As per the latest leaks, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is getting the GB203-300-A1 die, which is better than what we have on the RTX 4070 Ti and its Super version. These GPUs got the XX4 die but the RTX 5070 Ti is getting the XX3-class die that is usually deployed on the 80-class cards.

As for the RTX 5070, the GPU is getting the GB205-300-A1 die, a downgrade over its predecessors, which received the XX4 dies. Thanks to the prominent leaker, @Kopite7Kimi, we now have more detailed specifications of these GPUs, which coincide with the specs revealed in the earlier leaks.

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is going to use the PG147-SKU60 board and will feature 8960 Cuda Cores. The memory configuration is 16GB GDDR7 on a 256-bit memory bus as expected. This will result in a total memory bandwidth of 896 GB/s as the GDDR7 memory speed on the 5070 Ti will be 28Gbps. The card, however, will boast lower power consumption than rumored and will boast 300W of default TBP, which is 15W higher than the RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070 Ti Super.

The RTX 5070 is going to use the PG146/147-SKU70 board, GB205-300-A1 die, and 6144 Cuda Cores. The GPU has retained the same memory configuration as the RTX 4070 except for the memory type. It will feature 12GB GDDR7 VRAM on a 192-bit memory bus, which shows that NVIDIA is not in the mood to give the RTX 70-class cards any VRAM uplifts. Moreover, the RTX 5070 has received a 50W increase in TBP compared to the RTX 4070, which was rated at 200W. This is even higher than the RTX 4070 Super, which is rated at 220W.

The pricing isn’t disclosed yet but we may see equivalent or even higher prices of both cards compared to their predecessors. If NVIDIA prices them similar to the predecessors, the RTX 5070 should launch at $599 and the RTX 5070 Ti at $799. This is just our speculation and we may find out their real pricing at CES 2025 when NVIDIA launches the GeForce RTX 5080, which features the fastest 30 Gbps GDDR7 memory.
