Philippine Retailer NetCodex Lists Gigabyte RX 9070 XT Gaming OC Card for ₱35,000, a Triple-Fan Card with up to 2970 MHz of Boost Clock
While AMD is still silent on the specifications of the RX 9070 GPUs, leakers and retailers are doing the job before the embargo. Recently, we saw an ASUS RX 9070 XT with its leaked specifications and performance equivalent to the RTX 4070 Ti Super. Today, it’s a Philippine retailer called NetCodex, which listed a Gigabyte RX 9070 XT card.
The exact model is Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC 16G, which still has its page live on the website. The card boasts a triple-fan design, featuring a black shroud and fans, and is roughly 2.5 slots thick. In the specifications tab, the specs reveal that the card is a 2-slot card, but when the actual thickness is higher you check out one of the pics of the card. In another instance, the seller made the mistake of listing up to 3x DP ports while the card had 2x DP ports and 2x HDMI ports.
Therefore, other specifications may or may not have any errors but as per what we can see, this Gigabyte edition brings 4096 Stream Processors, a base clock of 2.4GHz, and a boost clock of up to 2.97GHz. So, as per the previous rumors, the 3.1GHz boost clock is probably available on the premium AIB editions and not the reference cards. The Radeon RX 9070 XT is going to be the flagship GPU in the RDNA 4 lineup and as expected, it shows Navi 48 XT die at its core.
The VRAM configuration reveals 16GB GDDR6 memory with a 256-bit memory bus and delivers around 624.1 GB/s of memory bandwidth. It can go higher in premium editions but it’s still unknown whether the memory bandwidth can touch 693 GB/s. As far as 624.1 GB/s is concerned, the GDDR6 memory speed is around 19.5 Gbps on the Gigabyte edition. To achieve 693 GB/s, the GDDR memory speed should be over 21 Gbps.
Apart from the core specs, the card boasts 3x 8-pin PCI-E connectors as shown in the images, but specs list 2x 8-pin connectors. Therefore, it is likely going to boast over 260W of TDP. Some cards can run at up to 330W as was seen in the ASUS RX 9070 XT leak and could probably go higher on flagship editions such as ASRock RX 9070 XT Taichi, which boasts a 12V-2×6 connector but this isn’t confirmed yet.
Now coming to the juicy part, the Gigabyte RX 9070 XT Gaming OC edition costs ₱35,000, which comes out to USD $593. Since it includes a 12% Tax, the price comes down to $529. Therefore, it’s safe to assume that the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT reference edition could cost around $479-$499 if the rumors are true.
