We have been receiving next-gen GPU leaks frequently now. Many of the latest ones were mostly related to the spec sheet and the naming convention but we finally got to see the next-gen NVIDIA and AMD GPUs officially from the brands. These aren’t fully detailed pics of the upcoming GPUs but it’s clear from the teasers that the NVIDIA and AMD along with AIBs are ready to showcase their latest offerings.

NVIDIA has uploaded a teaser video titled “GeForce LAN 50 Missions and Rewards”, which introduces the 48-hour event NVIDIA is going to conduct on 4-6th January and will end the event with the release of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs. In the 39-second video, the final moments show a PC with a “GEFORCE RTX” GPU installed inside a rig. The image is quite dark but upon doing some homework, we can see a glimpse of the upcoming RTX 5080/RTX 5090 GPU.

It appears that the GeForce RTX 5080 is a dual-slot or 2.5-slot card with dual-fan cooling design on the Founders Edition. This is a much-welcome move as GPUs have been becoming quite bulky and massive lately. A 12V-2×6 connector cable is plugged at a 90-degree angle, which confirms that this isn’t from the RTX 40 series.

The next RTX 5080 picture is from MSI, which reveals both the GPU box and GPU design. It’s the GeForce RTX 5080 GAMING TRIO edition, a triple-fan card with RGB lighting. It will be factory-overclocked and appears to be a 2.5-slot card. The RTX 5080 uses the GB203 die and will feature 10,752 Cuda Cores and 16 GB GDDR7 VRAM and will be the first GPU to be unveiled at CES.

On the other hand, PowerColor too has something for the gamers. The company teased the Radeon RX 9070 XT Red Devil edition on X. Not much is shown but just the backplate with an LED-backlit Red Devil logo underneath it. In the post, PowerColor said,

When you gaze into the abyss, the abyss glows red in return. Are you ready to face the abyss’s gaze?

This clearly indicates RDNA 4 GPU, which will be using Navi 48 GPU die and will feature 16GB GDDR6 memory. The Radeon RX 9070 XT is also going to be revealed at CES and is going to be shipped on 21st January. I reported about it yesterday, also providing you the information that the card will see better availability in February in China.
