7 Best RGB fans for radiators

Best RGB fans for radiators

AIO radiators are very effective in cooling but what makes them even better are good static air pressure fans. Taking it to the next level, you can have RGB fans on it that will fulfill both the purposes of performance and aesthetics.

Having used several types of CPU coolers, AIO coolers are definitely better in performance in my opinion. I always try to use static pressure fans as they ensure that the air reaches each fin in the heatsink. Thankfully, we now have multiple options in the radiator fans to choose from.

In short, if you can buy a good static air pressure fan that exhibits bright and colourful lights at the same time, then why not buy it instead of the boring opaque fans?

This post lists out the top 6 RGB fans that will compel you to change your radiators fan right now.

Corsair LL Series LL120 RGB

Specifications:-

  • Type- Static Air Pressure
  • ARGB Lighting
  • 600-1500 rpm speed
  • 24.8dBA noise level

Corsair LL series 120mm ARGB fan is one of the trending RGB fans in the PC market and though it is expensive, the looks and performance it offers are on par with the best PC fans available. The fan features a total of 9 fan blades that are designed to keep a good air pressure that reaches up to 1.61mmH2O at 1500 RPM.

The RGB lighting is also something that anyone would admire. The fan has a total of 16 Addressable RGB LEDs in the inner and outer rings due to which the light intensity and colour effects are sufficient for lighting up your chassis from inside.

Specifications:-

  • Type- Static Air Pressure
  • ARGB Lighting
  • 650-1800 rpm speed
  • 30dBA noise level

Cooler Master MF120 is one of the latest additions to the company’s fan catalogue and it features Addressable Gen 2 RGB lighting that is compatible with major motherboards that feature Gen 2 ARGB. The fan has a speed range of 650-1800 RPM where at full speed it can throw up to 47.2CFM of air and maintain up to 1.6mmH2O air pressure.

Here RGB LEDs are embedded in the inner ring as well as on the frame that totals 24 ARGB LEDs. Each of them can be controlled using the MasterPlus+ software.

Thermaltake Pure 12 ARGB

Thermaltake Pure 12 ARGB

Specifications:-

  • Type- Static Air Pressure
  • ARGB Lighting
  • 500-1500 rpm speed
  • 30dBA noise level

TT Pure 12 ARGB fan features ARGB LEDs in the centre ring from where the light diffuses into the translucent fan blades. There are a total of 9 fan blades just like most static air pressure fans and at its full speed of 1500 RPM, it can create air pressure up to 1.59mmH2O and a great airflow of up to 56.45CFM.

The 3-fan pack comes with a controller that has three different buttons for Speed, Color and Mode. If you want to take the customization to the next level, you can alternatively use any major RGB software like RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync, Polychrome etc.

  • 25dBA noise level

TT Riing Quad 120mm fan is straight away the most ‘RGB’ fan on the market. It has 4 RGB LED rings that include the fan as well as the frame. So, the amount of RGB lights it can emit is insane and there are a total of 54 Addressable RGB LEDs that is really unbelievable, to be honest.

While this fan is purely more of an aesthetic fan, it does offer good performance like low noise and air pressure of up to 1.40mmH2O. It is although not better than the TT Pure 12 ARGB but if you are willing to compromise a little on performance due to its looks, then go ahead.

Antec Prizm X 120 ARGB

The outer ring creates a different effect while the inner ring diffuses the RGB lights into the translucent fan blades. With a 3 fan pack, Antec provides a controller to change the effects and all that for just $50.

ARCTIC P12 PWM PST A-RGB

  • Type- Air pressure
  • ARGB Lighting
  • 0-2000 rpm speed
  • 22.5dBA noise level

Arctic’s P12 PST ARGB fan features max speed up to 2000RPM and can deliver up to 48.8CFM of airflow with an impressive 1.85 mmH2O air pressure. The fan is semi-passive that can stop completely if no cooling is needed. However, on a radiator, you have to forget about the 0 rpm mode so that your processor can be cooled for consistent performance.

The fan comes with 12 Addressable RGB LEDs and can be customized by major software. One distinguishing feature it comes with is the 6 years warranty. Most fans come with a 2-3 years warranty and thus, this feature is one of the major factors to choose it over most RGB fans.

ARCTIC BioniX P120 A-RGB

Specifications:-

  • Type- Air pressure
  • ARGB Lighting
  • 400-2300 rpm speed

Arctic has another great static air pressure fan that runs at a maximum speed of 2300 RPM. It can deliver up to 48CFM of airflow and impressive air pressure of 2.1mmH2O. RGB lighting on it, however, is not the best but it is still fine if you are leaned towards performance more than the looks.

It has only 5 fan blades but they are curved more than any fan listed above it. This makes it quite good in the air pressure and perfect for radiators.
