Many of us are eagerly waiting for the release of AMD’s Radeon RX 6600 XT & Radeon RX 6600 graphics cards. According to the reports published on Fudzilla, both the Radeon RX 6600 XT and the Radeon RX 6600 will be launching on 11th August.
However, there is no official confirmation made by AMD on this occasion. But according to the information shared by Fudzilla, both the cards will be announced on that day. Also, we will see many reference models for those two cards.
Furthermore, these upcoming GPUs will be the very first to be to feature Navi 23 that has already made its way into the professional and mobility division. In terms of specification, the RX 6600 XT will be powered by Navi 23 XT and will feature 32 Compute Units or 2048 stream processors. It will also include a 32 MB Infinity Cache & will feature an 8 GB GDDR6 memory capacity running across a 128-bit wide bus interface.
The RX 6600 on the other hand is expected to feature Navi 23 XL GPU along with 28 Compute Units or 1792 stream processors. It will include a 32 MB Infinity Cache & will feature up to 8 GB GDDR6 memory capacity running across a 128-bit wide bus interface.
Both these cards will feature 16 GB/s of transfer speed and a memory bandwidth of 256 GB/s. However, the price point that was rumoured before is the main concern. The RX 6600 XT is supposed to be priced at $399 which is pretty much on the higher side when compared with the targeted segment.
Therefore, if the rumours are true, then we will be getting the details about them on 11th August 2021. And we can hope that most of the doubts will be cleared after that.
