Acer Unveils Nitro V AI Laptops in 17, 16, and 14-inch Models with up to Ryzen AI 7 350 Processor and RTX 4050 GPU
Acer has released new laptops in its existing Nitro V series, featuring the recently launched Intel and AMD processors. The Nitro V AI lineup has three laptop variants with different screen sizes: Nitro V 17 AI (17-inch), Nitro V 16 AI (16-inch), and Nitro V 14 AI (15-inch). Each of these is equipped with AMD Krackan Point processors, based on the Zen 5 architecture.
With the release of AMD Ryzen AI 7 350, these laptops can now enjoy great productivity and gaming performance at an affordable price. The Ryzen AI 7 350 is AMD’s latest budget offering, featuring two core clusters: 4x Zen 5 and 4x Zen 5c with hyperthreading enabled. Apart from powerful computing performance, the Ryzen AI 7 350 brings RDNA 3.5-based Radeon 860M iGPU, which is adequate for day-to-day tasks and can play games as well.

However, Acer is equipping the Nitro V AI laptops with budget GPUs like GeForce RTX 4050 that will let users play games at 1080p with around 60 fps. Each of these laptop models features Copilot+ PC certification and can deliver up to 50 AI TOPs of processing power for decent generative AI experiences.
The Nitro V 16 AI (ANV17-61) model features a 17.3-inch display with 2560x1440p resolution and can reach up to 165Hz refresh rate to deliver smooth gaming performance. Its color reproduction is also excellent with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and the displays of the 16-inch and 14-inch variants are also satisfactory, except that they boast a different color space of sRGB 100%. The Nitro V 16 AI (ANV16-61) models boast 1600p resolution and up to 180Hz refresh rate while the Nitro V 14 AI (ANV14-62) is similar to the 17-inch model with 1600p resolution and 165Hz refresh rate.
Apart from AMD-based laptops, Acer has also released some Intel Core Ultra 200H and Ryzen 8000HS-based models, featuring the latest Intel Core Ultra 7 240H on the Nitro V 15 (ANV15-52) and AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS on the Nitro V 15 AI (ANV15-42), with both laptops boasting 1080p 15.6-inch panel with 180Hz refresh rate, 3ms of response time, and 100% sRGB color space.
