Gaming without spending hundreds of dollars has become a lot easier in 2023, thanks to the budget graphics cards we have this year from AMD, Nvidia, and Intel.
A budget graphics card for some people falls in the range of $80-$120 while for some, it may be above $150. We currently have a lot of Budget GPUs from both manufacturers ranging from $80 up to $300. This provides good flexibility to build gaming PCs with a wide range of budgets.

From AMD’s side, we have the RX 550 which is currently the only decent budget GPU fit for gaming. However, it too has two variants where the 2GB is the cheapest one but is still a great deal under $80. It features 2GB of GDDR5 memory on a 64-bit memory bus.
While not a great deal-breaker, it’s still a good starter for those who never had a hands-on gaming PC and want to start with something that fits the budget and gets the job done. It can let you play older titles, less-intensive titles, and some modern titles on 720p resolution with low to medium settings. This is sufficient considering that you are paying only $60-$80.
Despite being a slower card than the competitors from AMD and Nvidia, the Intel ARC A380 has managed to show some good performance for a price of less than $150. The card is currently not available in a lot of countries but the availability should get better with time soon.
The ARC A380 is the first and slowest in the ARC Alchemist family and features 6GB of GDDR6 VRAM. It has a TDP of 75W and can manage the power from the PCI-E slot itself. However, some editions come with a single 6-pin power connector and may have a few more watts higher than the reference edition.
For 1080p gaming, you can expect 40-60 fps on medium settings in modern titles and therefore, the card is most suitable for less graphical-intensive as well as esports games that have a lower GPU requirement.
Finding a good budget GPU under $200 is right now the most difficult task until AMD launched the RX 6400. It might look just like any other entry-level GPU for gaming but it is currently the only best card for $160. Not only you can buy it for MSRP but you can play games at 1080p medium-high settings.
This GPU, however, suffers the same fate as its elder sibling, the RX 6500 XT, but despite that, it beats the GTX 1650 for the same price. It features 768 Stream Processors and clock speeds that start at 2039MHz up to 2321MHz. AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT
Before you freak out, let me just clear up a few things. Indeed, the RX 6500 XT was one of the worst graphics cards when launched but currently, we have no other better option for around $150 except for the 6500 XT. RX 580/590, and GTX 1650 Super are no longer available for less than $200. The RX 6500 XT despite its big limitations is faster than the GTX 1650 and Super edition and therefore, under some conditions it is a good choice.
It can provide 60 fps in most games at 1080p on high settings. The problem here is the PCI-E lanes bandwidth which is limited to only 4. This makes it only better on motherboards that come with PCI-E Gen 4.0 support and therefore if you have a motherboard that doesn’t have this feature, it’s better to avoid this card.
It comes with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM, 1024 Stream processors, and a boost clock of more than 2800MHz. It is power-efficient and requires a single 6-pin power connector. This will be a fine choice for $200 with any budget gaming processor like the i3 12100F or any latest Ryzen CPU under $150.
The GTX 1650 is one of the best choices if you can get it for less than $150. It is also somewhat slower than the RX 6500 XT but is not limited by the PCI-E lanes bandwidth. It is based on the Turing architecture and for a few years, it has been very successful in the budget gaming segment. The card comes in two memory configurations: GDDR5 and GDDR6. I recommend going with the GDDR6 because that gives a good boost in performance and makes it a more attractive option.
It can play almost any game at 1080p high settings and almost every game can reach 60 fps. I prefer it for eSports games more than AAA titles and it can do a really good job in those less graphically intensive games. It comes with 896 Cuda Cores and 4GB of GDDR6 memory which is sufficient for most graphics settings at 1080p but may not be adequate for every game you play.
The Radeon RX 6600 can be crowned as one of the best budget graphics cards for around $200. Not only it is priced well but it beats the GTX 1660 Super and RTX 3050 for almost the same or less price. It straight away puts the RTX 3050 to shame in gaming by providing 30-40% higher performance in most games. It can max out games at 1080p resolution and is capable of handling AAA titles even at 1440p.
Not only that but it is also capable of Ray Tracing, thanks to RDNA 2 architecture, the RX 6600 is a beast card with low power consumption with just 132W of TDP. It comes with 1792 SPs and clock speeds ranging from 2.0-2.5GHz. It gives you a good 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM that is adequate for ultra settings in graphically intensive games and thus, you don’t need to look further if you are trying to settle down with a $200 card.
Intel ARC A750 is surprisingly a great competitor to the RX 6600. Despite not selling like hotcakes, the ARC GPUs have come a long way where they are competing with the last-gen AMD and Nvidia GPUs. The A750 is one of them that boasts a good 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM and is capable of providing decent 1080p gaming performance.
It boasts 28 Xe Cores, 2050MHz of clock speed, and a 256-bit memory bus which is actually amazing because none of the budget AMD and Nvidia GPUs have such a memory bus width. This gives it a higher bandwidth at higher resolutions due to which the A750 doesn’t get bottlenecked.
Certainly, not the best choice right now but seeing how much improvements Intel has made only through drivers, the ARC GPUs are still ideal.
Lastly, if you want something that is newer and better, then look no further than the RX 7600. This GPU provides a good uplift over all the GPUs listed above and is 35% faster than the RX 6600 in particular. The RX 7600 costs only $249 right now which makes it the best budget graphics card at the moment.
Not only does it bring higher rasterization but also better ray tracing performance than its predecessor. It comes with 2048 Stream Processors and 8GB GDDR6 VRAM on a 128-bit bus. The power consumption is also pretty low at only 165W and hence, a win-win situation for budget gamers.
Things to Know Before the Purchase
Determine Your Budget And Need
Make sure before you buy a graphics card, you know your budget. You can have $100 or even $500 for buying a GPU but if you are going to build a completely new PC then defining and distributing the expenditure between different components is a little difficult. If you are buying a new PC, then make sure you don’t buy an overkill graphics card for your CPU. A Pentium processor can’t handle RTX 3070 or GTX 2080 Ti. Similarly, a GT 1030 is too weak for an i7 10700K.
Another important thing is to define your requirements. Without knowing what you want, you can either overspend or underspend on your graphics card. If you are just starting and want to enjoy some eSports or Casual games then a budget graphics card will be enough for the job. But in case you want to enjoy the games on ultra textures at 1080p or higher resolution then you will need to buy higher-end graphics cards like GTX 2060 or RTX 3060 Ti etc.
How Much VRAM You Will Need?
VRAM is the memory that is different from the main system RAM and is only dedicated to providing the horsepower your graphics need. Every dedicated Graphics card has some dedicated VRAM which now in modern GPUs can vary from 1GB up to 16GB. To play games on higher settings at 1080p at least, you need to have at least around 3-4GB VRAM on your Graphics card. If you go lower than that, then you may have to lower some of the settings in your games for getting good frames per second.
If you want to max out textures, anti-aliasing, foliage, shadows, etc. in a AAA game, then you will need at least 6GB of VRAM that is present in GTX 1660 and higher-end Graphics cards. Right now, I don’t know of any game that utilizes more than that except in the case of higher resolution like 4K.
Cooling Is Essential For Graphics Cards
Low Profile graphics cards have smaller heatsinks and therefore aren’t efficient in maintaining good temperatures if you overclock them but graphics cards with bigger aluminum heatsinks with copper heat pipes with 2 or more fans are extremely important for maintaining good temperatures even while overclocking to the full potential. If you are not doing any type of overclocking, you should still make sure that your PC chassis has enough ventilation for proper air intake and exhaust.
How many wattages You Will Need?
Different graphics cards have different TDPs and their power consumption varies. So, you need to check the graphics card’s TDP before buying it. Make sure your power supply is having enough wattage capacity to run your whole system without any bottlenecks.
A system that uses low-end or budget components will have no problem running on a 400 watts reliable power supply. Still, when it comes to running an RTX 3080, i7 12700K, Multiple Fans, AIO coolers, and several storage devices, then you will need a higher wattage power supply. Make sure you check the TDP of all of your components and see if your PSU still has enough wattage capacity to power your Graphics card.
Another important thing to note is the graphics card power ports. Make sure your Power supply has the power connectors that your graphics card requires. A GPU with a 6-pin port will use a 6-pin power connector from the power supply. Generally, almost all the budget power supplies in the modern day have a 6-pin power connector at the minimum. If your graphics card has 2x 8-pin power ports, your PSU must have those to run the graphics card with stability.
GPU Should Be Compatible With The Monitor
Sometimes a particular graphics card from a different manufacturer will not have the I/O ports for connectivity as your monitor requires to show the display. Check the I/O ports at the back of your monitor and also the I/O ports of the graphics card you are buying.
If your monitor is a 144Hz gaming monitor, then you must have a DVI port or a DP port on your monitor/GPU to get that 144Hz refresh rate smoothness. Make sure both your graphics card and monitor have these ports to avoid mishappening.

Of course the 4th one. Rx 460 is powerful than r7 360 and gtx 750 ti. In some games like Hitman it beats the gtx 950 and in coming games it will prove itself better. It’s also very power efficient, supports directX 12 and Vulkan API.

Hmm. I know it’s not a good decision buying a gtx 1060 for $320 but still it’s fine. You are getting the power of a $500 card gtx 980. I too wanted to buy this card as cheap as possible. But I bought it for $390 here in India because we don’t buy these things again and again. So, It’s not a big problem. I would suggest you to either wait or don’t buy a $150 card at all as you will be upgrading it after 6 months. So better is the option of gtx 1060.

You should get a 990fx chipset motherboard for overclocking fx 8320e to full potential. You can get the cheapest one for $100. Gigabyte 990fxa ud3 r5 is the choice to go.
For graphics card I will recommend Rx 470 4gb which is the best match for your processor.

Thanks for the feedback. You should get Rx 470 if you want futureproofing. You will be able to do crossfireX with the new build then. But don’t get 32gb of ram, 8gb or 16gb is fine as you will end up wasting money cause you are already in the mood of upgrading after sometime.

First is this a good basic build? and second what graphics card would you suggest for under $200? On a side note the reason I am going with this build is due to I need a quad core for online radio encoding and relays.

Thats not a good build. You shouldn’t be going with the fm2 processor if you have $70. You cant upgrade your build in future as there is no good high end fm2 processor. Either go with fx 4300 if you want to build amd gaming system or if you want more fps then either pentium g3258 or g4400. Both cost below $70 and the cheapest motherboard you can get will be either msi h81m e33 for g3258 or gigabyte h110 a for g4400. For power supply choose the evga 430 watts or 500 watts. That will cost you the same as the one you mentioned.

Hi I have an old pc specs are Athlon x2 3.2 GHz overclocked to 3.9GHz, 4gb ddr3 ram 667 mhz, Radeon hd 6750, 350 w psu. I can play fallout4 and metro last light on 720 p and low settings. Now I’m thinking of just replacing the graphics card so I can play fallout4 and metro last light on at least medium/ high settings. So my question is shall I go for borax gtx 750ti or ASUS gtx950 as both these cards don’t require external power. Also I’m thinking of getting a new rig in the next few months, which will either have gtx 970/ rx480. so will gtx 750ti be able to play the above mentioned games on 900p res and on medium/ high settings on my rig or shall I spend more and get gtx 950 card. I would say first upgrade your processor to at least i3 6100 or better if you get i5 6400. These are best budget processors. then you should get a good power supply from EVGA or Seasonic. 500 watts will be ok. And as you said you will be upgrading anyways in a few months then wait to get the gtx 1060 which is faster than the rx 480. Don’t waste money on gtx 750 ti now if you gonna upgrade later.

Definitely rx 480 is better than gtx 970 especially when you use directx 12 in games like rise of the tomb raider. You will get upto 30% of fps increase.

Gtx 1060 is a great card and it won’t be an overkill. Although the newer skylake processors perform much better with high end graphics cards, the sandy and ivy processors will just give approximately 10 fps lower but you will be still able to max out everything at 1080p and will get 60-90 fps in most of the games.

Your psu is only 300 watts and the brand is unspecific. Get a psu of 500 watts at least from evga.

For 50+ fps, I would recommend a gtx 950. But as the prices of gtx 960 and r9 380 are under $150 for this month, you should be getting anyone of them.
Hey Sarfraz! I ‘inherited’ my grandfather’s build because he bought a prebuilt recently. It has 4GB G.Skillz ram a AMD Phenom II x4 955 processor and an outrageous 620W Antec PSU. I’m trying to get into PC gaming and am planning on purchasing Overwatch. You might have noticed the lack of GPU. That’s what I need! I have a PNY GT 610 with 1024mb gddr3 ram. I’d like to run atleast 1080p 60fps with low-med graphics(not totally necessary, but high graphics would be cool). For a few days MSI gtx 960 and ASUS R9 380 2gb versions are less than $150. Nothing is better than getting one of them right now.
8gb ram is perfect for any build. But if you don’t have the budget for that, you can buy it later. But the most important is graphics card. Get gtx 960 or R9 380 which is even better.

Get a cheap power supply like EVGA 500 watts. You will get it in $40. You have too low wattage power supply. There is a hight change that you might face bottlenecks and crashes

Funny thing is how many tend to not notice that some low profile GPU are as strong (if not better) than many entry-level gaming graphic card… and they aren’t costing much more (if not even less).
For example, the Zotac GeForce GT 730 DDR3 4GB cost less than 100$CAN (meaning… 75$US or less). Sure, it’s not a DDR5, but to be honest, on the entry level and even up to 3GB, there’s absolutely NO performance difference between DDR5 and DDR3 due to the fact that you can already reach the max potential of the 3GB on a DDR3… DDR5 in that case is just marketing and an attempt of renewing sale for no real reason.
On a 4GB of VRAM, there’s a small difference between DDR3 and DDR5 in performance so yeah… Any GeForce GTX Ti with 4GB VRAM on DDR5 (whatever manufacturer) will beat the Zotac GeForce GT 730 DDR3 4GB… but any of those (reminder of the 4GB VRAM or more) all cost 4x-5x more instantly. (Except in the US where it’s sold 3x-4x more.)
3 positive thing with the Zotac GeForce GT 730 DDR3 4GB :
• Ultra-low power consumption since it uses Passive Cooling. (meaning it has no fans because it’s designed to eject heat through a metallic dispenser that orient the heat dispersal with the help of physics). So you don’t have fan clogging or rotors’ issues to watch for. It also means it can works on most desktop PC with a single PCI Express slot (dual-width & 16 graphics slot). It requires a powersupply of at least 300W which is kinda as silly as common.
• One of the rare 4GB GPU below 100$.
It’s so rare to see thing kind of thing that most requirement systems doesn’t even recognize it and tend to see it as 3GB. (Best example : Can You Run it sees it at 3GB while it’s truly at 4GB). What it’s actually lacking is its capacity for advanced rendering methods. Since it runs both its power supply and its data analysis through the PCI Express slot (yeah… no need to “hook” the power supply to the PC… through there’s a slot for a specific kind of power cable if you wish to use it.)
• It can run even the latest game at at least Medium.
Any games early 2015 or before it can be run at high or the highest setting. Since the Quad-Core + 2GB minimal requirement of the recent releases, it can run those at something that isn’t really precise :
– Textures at either High or Max.
– Resolution : 720p ideally if you want a constant fps. Can run at higher, but depending on the content being rendered, no guaranty. I tend to run my games at 1280×720 so that I can put everything at max/high with 2 exceptions.
– Shadows and Real-time reflection should be kept at low-medium.
This is where the Low Profile gets a bit behind due to physics limitation. Real-time rendering of multi-pass in games isn’t something simple to implement and many AAA companies cut corners there. So Shadows and Real-Time reflection is something that is often copy-pasted into the engines without any additional work… which clog the memory bandwidth easily when it has to recalculate itself 30-60 times per secs and especially if the game ran with per-pixel calculation (like the method used in Unreal and a possibility on Unity engines). To give you an idea, that method can’t be used on Smartphone or Tablet due to its high calculation requirement. (That’s why you don’t see many games on the Unreal engine for those devices as its rendering system has to be redone from scratch.)
As a game developer myself, I find the Zotac GeForce GT 730 DDR3 4GB as one of the best choice to test whenever the game is optimized or not for a multiple range of PCs. It’s not the best (of course), but it does a really great job at getting a view of what requires more optimization for low-end PCs.
(For example, I’m currently working on a new title that can run on low-end PCs at medium-low at 120 fps and the game is being built and tested on a Zotac GT 730.)

You have a very powerful processor even it is of much older generation. The strongest graphics card for your rig can be a gtx 960. Even though i dont think your memory and processor wont bottleneck even a gtx 970 much but staying at mid level graphics card is a wise choice.

It seems that you have a low end cpu. If you buy gtx 970, your cpu will bottleneck. So first upgrade your cpu and buy a mid end card like gtx 950 or 960. Either of them will be good. Or you can just spend more money to get a R9 390 which is better than gtx 970. But be sure to buy a better cpu first.
I saw your other post on best processors between 100-200, I would probably be able to get a decent one, and the 970, however now looking at the 960, I think that would be just fine. On your other post you have the Intel Core I5-6500 listed, would that do well with a 960, or even a 970 if I decide to change my mind again?

If you can spend another $10, you can get the above mentioned msi gtx 950 which is on deal right now. You will get it for $139 instead of $149. Or if you dont want to spend more money then r7 370 is not a bad choice at all.
R7 370 4Gb vs 2Gb has hardly any performance difference. 4GB vRam is useless in the R7 series. Only the R9 series and the Gtx 970 and above has the power to utilse more than 2 GB properly. Please edit your recommendations. Even gtx960 4 gb is a waste

everything looks fine. Your Gpu is also OK. But to play the newer games on medium to high settings at least a gpu like Gtx 750 ti is needed. Hd 6670 is not recommended anymore.

If you want to play black desert, especially online then the minimum requirement for gpu is gtx 960 or R9 380. It requires high end graphic card to run properly.

the problem with this build is the gpu you can get a cheaper cpu like 6300 or 8300 and get an alot better gpu, i wouldnt recommend going below gtx 750 ti performance and get maybe a used gpu with warranty, something like r9 280 and above or gtx 960 and up and for a cpu you can get an intel i5 (atleast 4 cores or more) or i3 (atleast 4 cores or more) newer generations as well
Cut down on PSU. Get a Bronze 80+ PSU of 400W .
Cut down on your CPU, Fx 8x series are pretty poor in terms of gaming. Its better to build a intel i3 system .
Your tentative GPU is extremely weak, its slightly better than the inbuilt iGPU of Skylake processors (intel530).
Getting a cheap i3 cpu will also negate the need for a CPU cooler. The i3 6100 is a great value for money CPU for gaming. Its 4 core multithread (2 core physical) is good enough for current gen games and outperforms octacore Amd cpus at this price
Try to squeeze in a Gtx 750ti some way or the other. Thats the most important aspect. Gtx750ti can power itself from motherboatd so even cheap OEM PSUs also works (tho i dnt recomend)
If you really want to get the best out of your money then consider going with the ASUS M5A97 R2.0 motherboard. It will save you $40 for which you can buy gtx 750 ti or even R7 370 2gb.

Crossfiring a low end gpu is not a good idea. The R7 200 series is not fully compatible with dx 12 . better go with r7 370.

What do you mean by best ones?? It all depends on your budget. When u play at 1080p with Medium and above settings ur cheap CPU will bottleneck, irrespective of your high end/low end GPU. If you want u can even get a $700 Gtx 980ti or a $120 750ti… In both the cases ur CPU will limit ur fps beyond 1080p
Well the pentium g3258 can handle all the entry level graphics cards without any problem. But going with gpu’s faster than the gtx 960 and equivalent graphics cards will produce some bottlenecking. Now it depends on your budget and your goal of how you want your games to run. Many games are gpu dependent like tomb raider 2013 which will not care if you have pentium or i7 but will give you the same performance. On the other hand in games like far cry 4 pentium may perform much slower with high end graphics cards like gtx 970 or 980.

If you are into casual sports and fighter games then you dont need to spend much on GPU. Ati R7 250x or a nvidia gx 750 (non ti) will be more than enough for Fifa 2016,2017,2018 ( because PC gamers will get the Ps3 port not the ps4 port)
Nvidia GT 730 and Nvidia GTX 750 Ti are pretty good choices too depending on your preferences. Although GTX 750 cost twice than GT 730.

If you are just a casual gamer then I recommend you going with R7 360 keeping in mind that you can also play mortal kombat and other games too. 400 watts of seasonic power supply will be enough for it and your processor will not bottleneck this gpu.
Although you can not play on ultra settings at 1080p but still can play on medium or high settings.

Hi Ahmad tarmizi, You don’t need a Z97 chipset motherboard unless you use an unlocked processor like i5 4690k or i7 4790k. As core i3’s are locked they can’t be overclocked. Get a simple h81 or h97 chipset motherboard and save money for a better graphics card like R7 360 or gtx 750 ti.
gt 730 4gb video card is low end and 4gb memory is useless with a low end card like this. Otherwise all of your components are good.

If you cannot afford gtx 970 right now. Well the other closest card is R9 380x. It’s a very good 1080p card and doesn’t costs much. It will be enough for gaming for at least one year.

No, don’t change the processor. It’s good. For gpu if you don’t want to spend more than 170 pounds then Msi Gtx 960 is a good option. It’s currently priced at 165 pounds at amazon.co.uk. And if your target is to play games on at least medium settings then I suggest gtx 950 which is much cheaper and would actually let you play all the games on high to ultra settings at 1080p. Currently Gigabyte gtx 950 is below 130 pounds.

then 500 watts will be enough considering that you use some hdd’s and custom fans. Don’t go with 650 watts or higher. It’s of no use unless you are going to do SLI/CrossfireX.

No. 650 or higher is too much. You can use even a gtx 970 or 980 with 500 watts power supply. But only if you are going to add a lot of fans, radiators or one more gtx 950/r7 370 then 650 watts or higher is suitable. But if you think that you are going to upgrade your system in a few months then you can go with 650 watts or higher.

If you have a pre-installed PSU without a 6 pin connector then of course that power supply may not be good for your graphics card. Remove that and use a good branded PSU.

you should buy Evga 500 watts B1 80+ bronze. It will be enough for i5 6600k and gtx 960. if you are looking to get the best brand for gtx 960, then it makes no difference if you buy a MSI or EVGA or whatever. Yes you can get Superclocked edition but it will cost you more. MSI will be good.

It would be better if you buy gtx 960 for 17k but if you don’t want to go above 15k then gtx 950 is the best choice. Although it cannot max out games at 1080p but can play gta V on very high settings at 900p and on high settings at 1080p.

It came along with my Intex ‘X’ series REDSTONE cabinet.
One of my friend too have the Intex X series case that came with pre-installed psu. I removed it in the shop at the same time when I bought it for my friend. Then I installed Corsair VS 450 watts that costs around Rs 2300/-. You should also get a decent psu as these inbuilt psu’s are generally crap especially the ones that come with Intex cases. You don’t want to get your gpu and other components damaged by OC/OV. Get new psu for your gpu.

Your chosen components seem to be ok. But I don’t think that Gigabyte H110 motherboard will support ddr3 memory. For playing games at 1080p, gtx 750 ti oc 2gb edition will be fine and you can play all those games on high settings.
If you are planning to upgrade your system in the future, then 550 watts is a good option but 450 watts will also do the work fine.
For the i3 processor you don’t need a custom cooler as i3’s are not unlocked to be overclocked much. The stock cooler will be Ok for that.

You can get either Gskill Ripjaws or corsair vengeance ddr4 memory from flipkart. It costs around Rs 4500 for a 8gb memory stick. Changing your motherboard will not be good as many lGA 1151 motherboards don’t support ddr3 memory and it is better to use a ddr4 memory instead of ddr3 for future proofing your system.
Another question is that Should my mobo will work fine for the config because it seems to be cheaper than the other components. Should I have to upgrade it or It will work fine
mobo is just fine for your build. As you are using i3 6100, you will not need any unlocked motherboard. Changing your motherboard will not increase performance in games.

To play gta v you must have a decent graphics card. R7 240 is a low end card and will not be able to play the games at 1080p. So you must get at least Either a R7 360 or gtx 750 ti. Or you can see my article on $350/$400/$450 gaming pc.

Yes with pentium g3258 and gtx 750 ti you will be getting the best bang for buck and can play games at 1080p high settings easily.

yes for gtx 750 ti a 450 watts of power supply is enough if it is from EVGA, Cooler master, seasonic, corsair or thermaltake. In India Corsair VS 450 watts and cooler master 450 watts are a good choice. I myself use a Corsair Vs 450 watts for gtx 650 ti and it’s very good and reliable

so as per your suggestion, I will buy a pentium g3258 processor and a 81 motherboard. My question, what will be a better graphics card for this build, gt 730 or a gtx 650 or gtx 750ti? Is amd a good choice if my processor is Intel? They almost cost double than gt 730, but is the extra money spent worth it in terms of performance? My res is now 768p. Will the gtx series bottleneck at this spec?

Coming to the first question : a gtx 750ti is the best choice for 768p and 1080p gaming at a particular budget. gtx 650 is kepler based and performs much slower than the gtx 750 ti. Although you can game on gt 730 on medium settings at 768p, it would be better if you buy a gtx 750ti.
Gtx 750ti and other gtx series graphics cards will never bottleneck on a pentium g3258. There are many games on which the pentium g3258 performs equally as the higher end core i5’s and i7’s . The main point is, your cpu must be enough powerful to handle any graphics card. But in some games like the witcher 3 or far cry 4 having two more cores will do a better job. But at a low budget g3258 is monster processor. So, do not worry about bottlenecking.
your second question: will you have to change the motherboard or not?
answer: No, as the h81m mobo have the LGA 1150 socket , you can use any 4th gen i3,i5 and i7 processor. Even i7 4790K. you can easily upgrade your system to higher end but the disadvantage will be only that you can not add more graphics cards for SLI or crossfirex and you will get lesser usb, sata ports.
for Ram 1333Mhz is fine for gaming. If you buy 1600Mhz memory then you will get a very small unnoticeable increase in performance. So, you can use any speed ram. It does not have a great impact on gaming.
If you do not have a good psu, I recommend you to buy at least a corsair vs 450 or better if you buy a cooler master or evga 450 watts power supply. For your gpu , if you are buying a gt 730 or even gtx 750 ti 450 watts will be enough for further upgrades until you buy a high end gpu like gtx 970 or gtx 980.
For memory size, it is recommended that you buy an 8gb single stick because the motherboard h81m has only two DIMM slots and if you buy 2x4gb then you will be unable to do increase the memory size to 16gb without selling your both ram sticks and buying new one in future.

However, I think 750Ti may be over my head now. The price tag is great for amazon.com.
But, in India there are several versions of 750Ti in different sites including amazon, all ranging from $160(single fan) to a whooping $220 (Zotac dp version, d sync, double fan, don’t know the difference).
And as such they are really out of my reach. I guess for now I have have to settle with GT 730. Later when I build a solid gaming pc, I will consider all my options as per your builds(maybe they will cost more in India, but all are very attractive, really)

If r9 270x is of the same price , then luck is with you . Get it , it’s 10-20% faster then r7 370 , although the r7 370 is a newer technology graphics card but it cannot still beat the r9 270x

the sapphire version is also good and the difference between the msi version and the sapphire version is negligible . The only main difference between the two is that the msi version is quieter and cooler , otherwise the performance of both the cards are same

g2020 is fine and if you want to upgrade , dont go for used 1155 cpu , it will not make much difference , wait for sometime and when you get the budget get the i5 and a better motherboard but not h81 , it’s not upgradable much . Or you can go with an amd build , they are cheap and upgradable like , fx 8320 and MSI 970 gaming motherboard . It will be better for your budget . going with i5 is definitely a better option but you will not be able to get a good motherboard if you go with the i5

Hi shubham , all three games can be run on medium settings at 720p resolution and you will get around 40 fps easily. But be sure to buy a 2gb ddr5 version of this card. But if you want to play them at 1080p. Then it will become almost unplayable. Hope , it helped you . let me know any other queries you have .

1 more thing is gtx 750ti graphic card can last abt 4-5 year near future ? b’coz i cant invest on gpu right now ,if not may be m gonna end up buying gt 730
If you cant buy a decent gpu right now then you can buy a dt 730 but if you buy gtx 750 ti , its a very good graphics card for 1080 high settings . but not even gtx 980 can be enough for next 4-5 years . its better to get gtx 750 ti now and of corse in more than 1 year you will have a better budget and maybe you can upgrade to a better gpu . but gtx 750 ti can only last for 1- 2 year max

Hi shubham , I don’t get disturbed . It’s my work . The Gigabyte B85m is a better mobo as it has 2 x 3.0 PCI express which can be utilised in future for crossfire or SLI . For Ram I suggest corsair vengeance or kingston hyper x
