Intel Arc B580 GPUs Arrive Early: SPARKLE & ASRock Delivered to Customers Before Launch

Two custom Intel Arc B580 GPUs showed up on Reddit: A dual-fan B580 from ASRock and a triple-fan B580 from SPARKLE. There are just two days left before they will hit the shelves officially.

Intel’s upcoming Battlemage Arc B580 was revealed a week ago. ASRock, GUNNIR, and some other AIBs also showcased their custom designs on the official reveal date but since the retail launch by Intel is on 12th December worldwide, AIBs have yet to showcase some more designs set for launch a day later.

Before these custom boards could hit the shelves, some users have apparently got their hands on these cards. Here I am specifically talking about two GPUs that were shared on Reddit by two users. One is the ASRock Challenger Arc B580 GPU, which ASRock revealed on the 3rd of December and the other is the SPARKLE Arc B580 TITAN OC, which is also set to hit the stores on the 13th this month.

Users getting their hands on these custom B580 GPUs can be possible due to several reasons. However, the embargo on the sale and review still exists. The one with the ASRock B580 Challenger has already installed it inside his gaming rig, boasting an AMD platform. The other posted some good-quality shots of the SPARKLE card, which is a triple fan card with a beautiful Royal Blue shroud.

  2. SPARKLE Arc B580 TITAN OC: for $269.99 Newegg

Surprisingly, you can find both the GPUs listed on Newegg already for pre-orders. Although, you may find them out of stock at times due to the demand. The ASRock Arc B580 Challenger boasts a clock speed of 2740 MHz and brings 1x HDMI 2.1 and 3x DP 2.1 with DSC. The SPARKLE Arc B580 TITAN OC also brings the same boost clock of 2740 MHz and a TDP of 200W, which is 10W higher than the reference edition.

The Arc B580 comes with 12 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus. It uses the G21 chip and comes with 20 Xe2 cores. Intel has officially priced it at $249 but the board partners can increase this price based on their custom designs as we have just saw above.

Intel’s Arc B580 even though is the first GPU the company unveiled in the Battlemage lineup, isn’t the only one. We also have the Arc B570 launching on the same day, featuring 10 GB of memory on a 160-bit bus. Some leaks suggest that Intel has already prepared the Arc B770, which will use the BMG G31 die and should be available early next year.
