A very short Star Wars Battlefront II gameplay clip has surfaced ahead of the scheduled June 10 world premiere.
The clip seems to be of an early build but shows an imperial soldier presumably part of the imperial special ops inferno squad aboard what appears to be a blockade runner.
In the clip, the imperial soldier performs some sort of takedown on a rebel soldier who is trying to escape through a closed door. On the right side of the screen, a droid like the one hovering over the imperial soldier’s right shoulder in this image is working on the lock.
As per EA, Inferno Squad is an Imperial special-ops team that is trained to be deadly starfighter pilots as well as elite commandos. Being deeply committed to the rule of law, Inferno Squad is an Imperial shield against the chaotic threat represented by the Rebel Alliance.
Fearless in the face of sedition, they strike unseen and then fade back into the darkness of deep space. As the story of Star Wars Battlefront™ II opens, you’ll accompany them on a journey through the Empire’s final, desperate hour.
