Almost 10 days are remaining before you can ‘possibly’ get your hands on one of the RTX 30 series GPUs that are going to launch for sale in the first week of June. Some retail shops already have these on their shelves for several weeks now that includes UAE and Vietnam.
Adding to the list is Pakistan where the retailer named Thrift.pk is allowing pre-orders of these two cards for a very high price than what we expected. Yes, it’s true that graphics cards are very expensive these days but these retail shops are themselves becoming scalpers now. Right now the official FB page of this retailer has deleted the post but Wccftech has the screenshot.

The base Palit RTX 3070 Ti model is launching at a price of 310,000 PKR that is roughly $2000 and will go higher for premium editions. The price of RTX 3070 Ti is although not yet declared but expect it something close to $600. So, the price is more than thrice the MSRP and it’s ridiculous.
Base Palit RTX 3080 Ti on the other hand is also set to launch for 420,000 PKR that equals $27000 and is almost three times the expected MSRP. In Vietnam, the MSI RTX 3080 Ti cards were seen to be on sale starting at $2900 which is going to be the case in other countries too. Unfortunately, Nvidia doesn’t control pricing and people will be once again forced to buy these graphics cards at a much higher rate.
